Lauren Rocco is a New York–based multidisciplinary artist and educator whose practice spans digital and traditional media. Her work explores the intersections of technology, memory, perception, and human connection, examining how visual technologies shape the ways we experience ourselves, one another, and the world around us. Moving between physical and virtual spaces, she combines digital manipulation, repetition, organic forms, and layered imagery to create hybrid environments where the natural and technological intertwine. Through distortion, mirroring, and transformation, familiar forms become fluid and otherworldly, inviting viewers to consider the shifting boundaries between the natural, the constructed, and the imagined.
Lauren holds an M.A. in Digital Media Design from New York University and a B.F.A. in Art Education from Pratt Institute. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, Times Square, and in venues throughout New York City and beyond. Alongside her studio practice, she has taught visual arts in New York City for more than a decade, mentoring students whose work has been recognized by the Congressional Art Competition, P.S. Art, and the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
